Cattle grazing on a ranch

The Carson Valley has been cattle country for generations, and we are lucky to work with ranch families who still raise animals the right way. Pasture access, clean water, and humane handling are not marketing slogans for us—they are what we look for before we put a ranch name on our chalkboard.

Partners We Trust

Some of our beef comes from small herds right here in Douglas County. Others travel a short haul from northern Nevada ranches we have known for years. We visit when we can, ask hard questions, and build relationships so we are not just buying commodity boxes off a truck.

When you pick up a steak at our Gardnerville shop, you are supporting those ranchers too. Ask us who supplied this week's ribeyes—we are proud of the names on the board and happy to tell their stories.
