Cattle grazing on a ranch

Vaughn Family Meat Co. started as a promise to know where our meat comes from. We work with ranchers in the Carson Valley and across Nevada who raise cattle and hogs without cutting corners. That means shorter supply chains, animals handled humanely, and cuts we can stand behind at our Gardnerville counter.

Why It Matters

When beef arrives at our back door, we know the ranch it came from and often the family who raised it. We dry-age select primals in-house, break down pork weekly, and trim steaks the way we would serve them at our own table.

Next time you visit, look at the chalkboard near the register—we list partner ranches when we have them. Good meat starts long before it hits the grill, and we are proud to be the link between local ranchers and your kitchen.
